About Us

CyberConnect is a web3 social network that enables developers to create social applications empowering users to own their digital identity, content, connections, and interactions. We’re building a world where we have ultimate control over our digital lives, and meaningful, long-lasting connections aren’t decided by centralized or biased tech.
Join our team on our mission to create long-lasting on-chain connections through the power of our network.
CyberConnect is one of the fastest-growing startups in web3/crypto. We're building something special and are looking for true believers to join our team. We're looking for ambitious individuals with a thirst for knowledge that are interested in working with some of the most exciting and groundbreaking technology.

The Role

The end goal of a decentralized social graph as a public good is to have every application to share and contribute to a single shared social graph instead of building siloed networks. That's why we want developers to build with CyberConnect protocol together. You will be leading the effort of onboarding new developers and engaging in open source community around CyberConnect protocol, client and applications. You will help write and iterate on public libraries, APIs and SDKs for developers to adopt.

What You'll Achieve:

You'll work closely with the protocol team to improve and iterate CyberConnect protocol. You'll participate in development planning and sprint planning as an advocate for developer community.
You'll work closely with the client teams both internal and external to help them navigate the protocol details and help create the best interface with the right amount of abstraction.
You'll help write developer docs, development milestone updates and communicate with the developer community and act as the point of contact for community questions.
You'll organize hackathons, community calls and bug bounty and other collaborative community efforts.
You'll be a consultative source of information for manager with the company to help them understand the importance of the projects to which you are assigned and the role that open-source plays within it.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

Solid understanding of open-source software: You have engaged in open source software communities participating in bug report, pull requests, code review, improvement proposal and other activities.
Strong writer: You’re fluent in human languages as well as technical. You can communicate complicated technical concepts elegantly.
Enthusiastic about wearing many hats: This role is highly cross-functional, and will involve many different kinds of projects.
Comfortable engaging with community: You'll nurture a community through answering questions in forums, github issues, discord. You'll connect with them through directly working with them and helping them solve their issues with the tools we build.
Persuasive: You'll advocate for the needs of our developer community and bring their feedback back to the product and protocol teams.

Nice to Haves:

You're proficient with technologies to create SDK libraries and APIs, including Typescript, React.js, Golang, GraphQL
You participate in open source projects and especially web3 projects.
You write about technology in blogs or other formats.

Life at CyberConnect

It’s not just another job here at CyberConnect. You get to work with a group of talented and passionate people. We build trust based on our strong belief in our mission and spending quality time together collaborating. Here are some photos from our team’s retreat in Joshua Tree in 2022.

Our Background

CyberConnect was born in 2021. We are early believers in crypto, and a big part of our team is comprised of serial entrepreneurs. In 2018, much of the same team built Lino blockchain as well as DLive.tv - world’s first blockchain-based live streaming platform. At its peak, DLive had over 1M daily active users and $3M in monthly revenue within few months of launch. The team even got Pewdiepie, the world’s most subscribed YouTuber at the time, to live stream exclusively with DLive, before it was acquired by BitTorrent in 2020.
At CyberConnect, we are backed by some of the best investors in tech and crypto including Multicoin Capital, Binance Lab, Animoca Brands, Sky9 Capital, Delphi Digital, Protocol Labs, among others. With a total funding of $25M, we are uniquely positioned to make a lasting impact in web3 social.
We're committed to promoting and celebrating diversity and inclusion. We strongly encourage applications from everyone, regardless of background and life experience. If you want to be a part of something momentous, we're excited to hear from you.
