Timeless is looking for an Editorial Director to join our core team. The position requires a strategic and results-driven leader who understands the world of web3 technology and culture. Candidates must have critical thinking abilities and effective communication skills, along with a proven track record of managing and growing editorial content.
The candidate is at the cutting edge of the cultural zeitgeist, understanding web3, social and youth culture, and how to effectively work within it whilst maintaining content quality over a long period of time.

The Discover module in the Timeless Wallet is an editorially driven collection of content that aims to bring to light for web3 communities. It exists at the nexus of web3 technology and culture. Our goal is to write (20%) and curate (80%) content that is thought-provoking and presented in the form of visually impactful ways. By incorporating helpful information and insights in a range of categories (e.g., events, people, DApps), the Discovery module offers a cohesive curation of fun and useful content for our web3 communities.

Our goal is to create and share riveting stories that encourage web3 communities to build new things, explore new ideas, and in doing so — accelerate web3 adoption. We are looking for candidates who are familiar with web3 technology and able to identify trends and emerging ideas across a variety of fields and incorporate them into our platform. Candidates must be a self-starter and lead the direction of content creation and curation.

Role & Responsibilities

1. In this role, thought leadership, collaboration, and communication are key. The ideal candidate is curious and operationally excellent.
2. You will identify emerging subcultures and upcoming web3 content that are engaging among community members.
3. You will implement editorial pieces on a daily basis through our content pipeline.
4. You will oversee all editorial content performance and ensure engagement targets are met.
5. You will manage an editorial budget for freelancers and oversee the editorial recruitment of contributors.
6. You will source and establish relationships with web3 content creators and influencers, with a particular focus on the culture space (i.e., gaming, music, art, sports).

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 3+ years of experience in writing, editorial, technology, business writing, or related fields, as well as leading content strategy projects.
3. Experience in business and technology-focused product writing and shaping content for general audiences.
4. Portfolio of writing samples and style guidelines.
5. Knowledge of web3 technology and projects is a plus.
