About This Role
As Product Localization Manager, you will be responsible for localizing our product content and features that look and feel native to the target market users and enhancing user experience and user retention on our products.
You will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, marketers, content creators, and other cross-functional team members to ship remarkable features and products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product localization, with B2C experience in an internet Web2/Web3 company.
Key Responsibilities
Identify clearly the user profile, persona and segments of our target users in the target market.
Conduct market research on our target user segments and provide clear descriptions of user scenarios and cases.
Work with designers, engineers, and developers to manage translation and adaptation of product content and features on SendingMe App across all supported languages, including user interfaces and user guide documentation.
Work with the Marketing team and Creative and Content team on marketing materials and customer support resources to ensure those contents are precise, translatable, and appropriate in all supported.
Oversee our products from the perspective of international users, and create bug tickets to the product development teams to refine the products.
Conduct market research to understand the target users, cultural nuances, and linguistic preferences of different regions to form localization strategies and plan.
Manage the cultural adaptation of products to align with the values, beliefs, and behaviors of the target audience.
Track and report on key localization metrics, such as time-to-market, translation accuracy, user satisfaction, and ROI on localization efforts.
Stay informed about legal and regulatory requirements in target markets, including product labeling, privacy laws, and industry-specific regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in language studies, translation or a related discipline, from a reputable university;
3-5 years of experience in product design and localization, localization project management or localization quality role for B2C products at an internet Web2/Web3 company;
An understanding and passion for the web 3.0, blockchain, crypto, and NFT spaces;
Experience working in an agile environment on consumer-facing software products;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Experience working with messaging platforms like Discord is plus;
Strong organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities, workflow, and people;
Strong business sense and a commitment to excellence/high standards;
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international, dynamic environment;
Based in Manila, Philippines.
