Job Description
We are seeking a talented, motivated individual to join us as a Technical Product Manager to own API
and documentation of LinX OpenNetwork. The role should be passionate about developer experience,
high-polish user interfaces, and finding creative ways to teach users complex topics and workflows. In
this cross-functional role, the role will partner with teams across LinX to build the best documentation site
on the web and create easy-to-use API specifications for developers. The role is also responsible for
attending daily stand-ups, translating business requirements from our partners into user-stories. The role
will partner with engineering teams to ensure that APIs satisfy the product vision. Additionally, the role is
also correlating and synthesizing information and talents from multiple teams including our partners in
order to maximize efficiency and intelligent development processes.
Responsibilities
Own the long term roadmap for user-facing documentation, as well as a new system for internal
documentation based on our open source project
Serve as the bridge between business teams/partners and back-end development team managing
core platforms and data sources
Design API specifications, manage developer requirements
Create user stories and acceptance criteria, manage product lifecycles
Work with Engineers and Designers to build and launch creative documentation and tools
Be a staunch advocate for our users, get to know their needs, and deliver to them the best documentation experience possible
Manage the open source community
Requirements
4+ years of product management or product-focused founder experience shipping high-quality products
Has shipped user-facing or API products, built on complex technical systems running at scale
Has persistence and a whatever-it-takes approach to ensure that your product is successful
Strong written and verbal communication skills with precise articulations of customer problems
Enjoys being a generalist working on whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users
Thrived in a highly collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and industrial experts
Takes pride in working on projects to successful completion
